Take control of your mind
Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present and to increase awareness of where we are and what we’re doing. We then become more aware of our own reactions and reduce feeling overwhelmed. Mindfulness helps you learn how to control your attention, thoughts and emotions. Being mindful and present is the best way to figure out the past, live in the moment and plan for the future. It sounds wonderful but it is hard to do on your own. Mindfulness helps you to be more effective in all the other work that you do in therapy. That is why it is a central part of the work that I do with you.
