Dialectical behavior therapy’s main goal is to assist people in build ing the life that they really want to live, along with being more present in the moment. By learning DBT skills, people will develop healthy ways to cope with stress, increase overall mindfulness, regulate their emotions, learn how to reduce their overall distress and improve their relationships.

What is DBT?

There are 4 different modules therefore skills learned will fit into the follow: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance and Interpersonal Effectiveness.

If you have completed DBT in the past and would like a refresher I also help people to refresh their skills.
